New Fuel Station at Muthurajawela Opened to the Public

The 889th Ceypetco Fuel Station was officially opened to the public on 01.10.2026 at the Muthurajawela Terminal premises, marking a significant milestone for the Ceylon Petroleum Employees’ Thrift Society.

The occasion was attended by Mr. D. J. A. S. de S. Rajakaruna, Chairman of CPC and CPSTL, Mr. Hemantha Kumara, Executive Director of CPSTL, together with senior management officials of both organizations and representatives of the trade unions.

This is the first and only fuel station fully operated by the Ceylon Petroleum Employees’ Thrift Society. The entire profit generated through the operation of the station will be utilized exclusively for the future welfare of petroleum sector employees, including medical assistance, financial and loan facilities, retirement benefits and other welfare initiatives.

The new fuel station has been equipped with a range of facilities to provide customers with a convenient and reliable service:

· Operating Hours: Daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

· Fuel Products: Lanka Octane 92 Petrol, Auto Diesel, and Lanka Octane 95 (Euro 4) Petrol

· Refreshments: A dedicated refreshment area for customers

· Customer Facilities: Clean and well-maintained restroom facilities

· Tyre Services: Air facilities for vehicle tyres

· Lubricants: Ceypetco lubricants

· Payment Options: Convenient digital payment facilities, including card payments and LankaQR
