Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) successfully launched its Digital Bulk Fuel Invoice system on 1 June 2026, marking an important step in the digitalization of fuel distribution operations. The launch was held under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Energy, Mr. Anura Karunathilake, with the participation of the Chairman, Managing Director, Executive Director and heads of relevant functions. The new system has been introduced to modernize invoice processing and improve efficiency across CPSTL’s bowser delivery operations.

Digital Bulk Fuel Invoice system is expected to bring significant benefits by improving data accuracy, reducing manual errors and speeding up invoice issuance immediately after fuel delivery. It will also support better transparency, stronger auditability and more efficient revenue collection, while reducing paper usage and administrative workload. By integrating with key operational functions, including bowser dispatch and related systems, the initiative strengthens CPSTL’s service delivery and supports a more streamlined and reliable invoicing process.
