CPSTL Commemorates World Environment Day 2025 with a Special Lecture on Waste Management

In line with World Environment Day, which falls on June 5th each year, Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) organized a special awareness session on “Waste Management” to promote sustainable practices within the workplace and encourage environmental responsibility.

The session was conducted by Group Captain Chinathaka Dias, Manager (Fire & Safety), who delivered a comprehensive and insightful lecture on effective waste handling methods, environmental hazards, and the importance of individual responsibility in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

The event saw active participation from CPSTL staff and janitorial teams, reflecting the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of environmental stewardship at all levels of the organization.
